This is a set of 1998-2002 Rodeo Interior Door Sill Trim Panels for the Driver & Passenger Side. Medium gray color, both are used and have a few normal scuffs but are in very good over all condition. These parts were pulled from a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, 2 wheel drive, 3.2L 6 cylinder Engine. The vehicle lost compression in the heads so it was stripped for parts before it was recycled. Vast Private Collection To Go Under The Hammer

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

AN AUCTION of more than 1,000 lots all from the same collection is due to go under the hammer later this month. The collection belongs to Michael Banfield, who has amassed a huge collection covering the history of the car in the UK. Among the earliest cars for sale are a 1904 Mors Roi de Belges, which is in perfect working order, ready to be used and is estimated to make £500,000.

Car collector and artist makes you look twice

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

As with most artists, Louis Carvell simply sees the world differently than others, and his passion for cars and car collecting led him to create a thought-provoking (and clever) body of work he entitled: “Reincarnations: Car Parts ReBorn.” The photographic collages are of spare vintage-automobile parts inspired by, “the dream cars of the Eisenhower era,” Carvell said. “These pieces are art in and of itself. Initially, I photographed them [alone] against white, seamless.” Eventually, Carvell decided to expand and refine his concept and place the parts into surrealist tableaux, to give one pause to consider these objects outside their defined roles.

Chevrolet Volt production halted – again

Wed, 29 Aug 2012

General Motors has revealed that they are to halt production of the Chevrolet Volt for four weeks as sales stay low. Back in March, we revealed that GM were to stop production of the Chevrolet Volt range extender EV as actual sales fell well behind projected sales. At that time – with a production target of 45,000 Chevy Volts in 2012 – GM had managed to flog just 1.626 Volts in the first two months of 2012 so they decided to halt production for a moth as they had 6,300 Volts stockpiled.
