This listing is for REBUILD SERVICE on most 1998 - 2008 BMW 525i, 528i, 530i, 535i, 540i, 740i, M, X and Z series ABS Control Modules with LIFETIME WARRANTY. You are not buying the actual part. Known problems: - ABS light is always on or intermittent - ABS, Brake and Traction lights are on - No communication with ABS module - ABS pump constantly running - Trouble codes for ABS pump, communication codes or speed sensor codes. Considering the massive amount of 1998 to 2008 ABS control module failures, we perfected a rebuild solution by repairing weak points and replacing parts with updated components that can withstand high pressure. For years and over a thousand of those ABS modules being repaired we have practically no warranty returns. You will send us your bad ABS control module (only the electronic part aka "brain box"). Please do not send the whole unit - only the control module box. We will rebuild it, test it and return it to you. No additional programming required. Rebuilding your ABS module is much better and cheaper, than buying used or new one. Every used and even new unit has the same manufacture flow inside, that make it fail over the time. Plus, you just install it back and it will work right-a-way with no programming needed. Installation instructions for DIY are available, though it is recommended to do replacements in a professional mechanic shop. You can still drive the vehicle with the ABS control module removed, though we cannot take any responsibility for failures that may occur while the module is removed (again, the removed module should not effect driving performance). We recommend taping plastic around the hydraulic part and the electrical plug that remains on the vehicle to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside the unit. So at last week’s Indian Grand Prix, Seb celebrated his title win by producing a series of doughnuts in his car on the finish line, much to the annoyance of FIA officials who fined him €25k for his celebrations. But the latest doughnuts by an F1 team won’t have the FIA up in arms (probably) even if the stunt Red Bull have pulled to mark their latest achievements will give anyone who’s afraid of heights the heebie-jeebies.
