Council parking ‘spy car’ gets speeding ticket
Tue, 04 Feb 2014A council-owned ‘spy car’ designed to catch people parking their vehicles unlawfully has been snapped travelling over the speed limit. Dorset police officers recorded the parking enforcement camera car travelling at 36mph in a 30mph area, handing the driver a £100 on-the-spot fine and three penalty points on their licence, according to the Bournemouth Echo. Nissan's DeltaWing goes for a ride at Sebring
Mon, 19 Mar 2012The Nissan-powered DeltaWing race car was on-hand for a few laps at Sebring this weekend, and the funky-looking speedster made it around the 3.7-mile track without incident. Granted, it was at about half race speed, but it was good to see the Nissan out on four wheels— narrow as some of those wheels might be. The DeltaWing sports a direct-injection, 1.6-liter turbocharged Nissan engine making about 300 hp.
