Like him or loath him, the former BMW design director is one of the most famous car designers of our times, recognised for shaking the established status quo with his ‘flame surfacing’ and his radical take on car design.  Then in March 2009, after 16 solid years, Bangle announced his retirement from the Bavarian brand and – seemingly – car design.

The Megane RB8 comes in a fetching shade of Twilight Blue – inspired by F1, you may like to know – with contrasting Platinum Grey on the door handles, mirrors, spoiler and front splitter for a bit of added interest. Rolls Royce Wraith returns

The coupe version of the RR Ghost is to be the Rolls Royce Wraith, with the first tease of the most sporty Rolls Royce ever. There was never any doubt that Rolls Royce would build a range of cars round the Ghost, with a coupe and convertible on the cards ever since the Rolls Royce Ghost arrived more than three years ago. In fact, just over a year after the Ghost launched, we reported that RR were planning an extended wheelbase version of the Gost and a coupe and convertible, just as expected.
