Kia Ray concept car (2010) first news and photos

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 February 2010 09:00 Kia Motors has picked the 2010 Chicago motor show to unveil its new Ray plug-in hybrid concept car. It's a futuristic look at what a 4.4m-long Kia family car of tomorrow could look like. It's based on the Kia Forte platform, but boosted by a plug-in hybrid system mixing a 151bhp direct-injection 1.4-litre petrol with the latest lithium-polymer batteries.

What's New: August 2004

Ferrari F430  The F430 is the first of a new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This new car takes Ferrari?s achievements with aluminium technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a new level, and offers a series of innovations derived from the Ferrari Formula 1 single-seaters. Two of these are world firsts for production cars: the electronic differential (E-Diff) and the steering wheel-mounted switch, which manages the integrated systems governing vehicle dynamics.

McLaren F1 debuted 20 years ago this week

It’s 20 years this week since the iconic McLaren F1 made its debut at The Sporting Club in Monte Carlo. There were many reasons why we thought McLaren would preview the new F1 to a select audience at last week’s Monaco Grand Prix, not least of which was that it’s 20 years since the first McLaren F1 was revealed to a select audience in the Principality. But it was not to be.
