Here I have a nice rebuilt generator for 39 to 41 Ford's or Mercury's, may fit others too. This is for 6 volt. It has new bearings, brushes and rewrapped field coils. Also the armature has been turned and checked for shorts on a growler. This one is nice. I have been rebuilding these since the 50's so I have got the experience. Has been tested and run for 30 minutes and works fine. I will not warranty these if they do not meet my expectations, so buy with confidence. NO CORE RETURN REQUIRED. Infiniti M35 Hybrid revealed
Wed, 07 Oct 2009The Infiniti M35 Hybrid - due to launch in 2011 The M35 Hybrid is based on the Infiniti M which was revealed recently at Pebble Beach. It will feature a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine coupled to an electric motor by a clutch, which means the drive goes through the propshaft to the rear wheels whatever mix of power source is being used. The M35 Hybrid is a mild hybrid, with the electric motor being used to boost the petrol engine when maximum power is called for, as well as charging the battery and recovering energy that would otherwise be lost under braking and acceleration.
Petersen museum celebrates the 50th anniversary of Phil Hill's world championship

Now, on the 50th anniversary of his world championship, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is celebrating the life and accomplishments of Phil Hill--the first American to hold that title--with a new exhibit of his cars and a gala celebration of his greatest races. First is the exhibit, assembled in collaboration with Phil's son Derek, himself a racer.
Ian Cameron receives Welsh Motoring Writers' Automotive Achievement Award

The award was presented at the WMW annual dinner at HMS Nelson's Wardroom in Portsmouth, UK, by the group's patron and former winner, Land Rover director of design Richard Woolley. "As we celebrate a decade since the launch of Phantom and the establishment of the new home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, it is a most fitting time for Ian to be bestowed with this honor," said James Warren, Rolls-Royce product and corporate communications manager, UK.
