“For sale is original equipment from a 1971 Porsche 911t. This was optional equipment installed in Porsche 911's in 1970 and 1971. It is in good shape, but 45 years old--and subject to wear. The clutch spins freely when it was installed on engine. Included is the compressor and clutch, condenser and mounting bracket. You will need new hosing to install yourself. This is more of a replacement for the restorer in need of original parts from 1971.Compressor/clutch are mechanically sound and bench tested.”

Original equipment-AC compressor, clutch, condenser and mounting bracket from 1971 Porsche 911t. Spun freely when in vehicle. No warranty-45 years old. For restorer in need of original equipment replacement parts.Does not include evaporator or hoses. Please send questions through e bay contact method listed below. items have scratches and marks that come with a 45 year old item. I have not charged and/or used item-but bench tested and electrically / mechanically, it appears to be without issues and would work with charged system. There aren't many of these left if you want original AC in your old Porsche 911.

Flavio Manzoni to Head Ferrari Design

Flavio Manzoni, Head of Creative Design at the Volkswagen Group, is set to take on a new role as Chief of Design at Ferrari starting January 1, 2010. Manzoni, currently part of the design team headed up by Walter de'Silva, will be based at Centro Stile Ferrari and charged with creating a new brand identity for the Italian marque. He will report directly to Managing Director Amedeo Felisa.
