To be revealed at next week's Paris motor show and due in showrooms in July 2007, the Avenger will be spun off the new Chrysler Sebring's front-wheel drive platform. The preview starts at 9:30 am on Monday, January 13 and will also include the first official look at the upcoming C7.R Corvette race car. You may recall the spy photos of the Z06 we captured testing earlier this year, and the single teaser image Chevy released of the upcoming hi-po Corvette indicates some of the cosmetic changes.

If GM receives a bid that is 'sufficiently interesting', it'll extend the deadline, said the Saab suit (Automotive News, subscription required)• GM is offering massive discounts on Pontiac and Saturn cars, as it seeks to get rid of the remaining stock from these terminated brands.
