Frankfurt Motor Show 2013: the top 20 cars to look forward to

The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show will play host to a wealth of new vehicles making their world and European debuts at the German automotive expo. So, from outlandish concepts and design studies to more mainstream production-ready metal, there are plenty of vehicles to look forward to when the covers come off at Frankfurt 2013. Subaru Impreza – the 2012 European one is revealed

Subaru will show this European-spec Impreza five-door at the 2012 Geneva motor show, as well as the BRZ sports car in European trim. This is the fourth-generation of the Impreza, but traditionalists expecting a return to the four-door saloon format will be disappointed: it remains a five-door hatchback bodyshell. Subaru abandoned its distinctive four-door style for Golf-alike hatch style in the last generation.

Well, Jaguar F-Type was one of the monikers we pitched as a possibility for the new Jaguar Roadster and Coupe previewed by the C-X16 Concept, but it was a long way off the top of the list. But Jaguar F-Type it is and, for what it’s worth, we approve.
