Fisker to show Surf shooting brake at Frankfurt
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Fisker will show a new Karma-based shooting brake called Surf at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. This is the first picture of the Fisker Surf, issued after CAR broke the news of the shooting brake earlier in the week. Customers of the Karma have been disappointed by the boot space – pinched by the bulky batteries and range-extender hardware – so Henrik Fisker's team has designed a new shooting brake to offer an expanded luggage hold while retaining the grace of the four-door coupe.
Chrysler brings back Shaker, Scat Pack for Challenger, Charger, Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge and Mopar are bringing the Shaker hood back from the dead at the 2013 SEMA Show. The blurry-lettered scoop and high-flow air filter will make their next appearance on the 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker in Las Vegas. The company will also show off its new Scat Pack upgrades and its annual Mopar vehicles.
Imre Molnar memorial service announced
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Imre Molnar will be honored in a memorial service this month, the College for Creative Studies (CCS) has confirmed. CCS President Richard Rogers has announced that on 20 January at 3.00pm (EST) all who knew Molnar are welcome to attend the service and share with his family in a remembrance of his life. Molnar, who was the college provost, passed away during the holiday season after riding his bicycle in California and suffering a fatal heart attack on the afternoon of 28 December.
