Disclaimers:

Images are for abstract illustration purposes and in most cases do not represent the actual product. Our product listings typically contain part numbers. These part numbers correlate with the product you will receive. If you have any questions about the product, contact the manufacturer if possible. If not, contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions.

Stocking

Some of the items we sell ship from either our distributors or directly from the manufacturer. For example, cat back exhausts and coilovers ship from either our distributors or directly from manufacturers. We do this to keep costs low for the customer. Please contact us to verify stocking if you need your item by a certain date.

Domestic Shipping

Items shipped from our central Texas store that weigh 1-3 lbs will ship via USPS Priority Mail, heavier items will ship FedEx Ground with a 1-4 day business guarantee. When items ship from the manufacturer (see “Stocking”), they will ship via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or FedEx Express Saver.

note: this item will almost always ship FedEx Express Saver.

Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and All US Territories Outside the 48 States

Unless it’s an oversized item (ex: cat back exhaust system), most items will ship USPS Priority Mail. In cases of items over 5 lbs, we will ask for extra shipping costs. Please contact us to verify if the item will require extra shipping costs, and also check to see if the item is in stock. If the item needs to be ordered from a distributor or manufacturer, it will delay the shipping time.

note: if shipping to the above territories, we will ask for an extra $10 to cover shipping. Furthermore, as we get these fuel rails from our distributor, there will be a delay of 4-5 business days in processing time as the item has to ship to us via FedEx before it ships to you via USPS.

International Shipping

We process international orders every day. All items with the exception of cat back exhaust systems will ship USPS Priority Mail. Please contact us for shipping rates if they are not specified in listings. Cat back exhaust systems will ship FedEx International Economy, or FedEx International Ground to Canada. The starting rate for Western Europe is $400. The most expensive rate is for Russia, which will cost $1,000 or more. If you live in a former Soviet republic, orders being shipped with USPS will have a longer processing time as they have to be shipped at the Post Office. Finally, we are NOT responsible for paying your customs duties. If you blackmail us into paying customs duties by refusing to accept the item if we don’t pay your duties, we will contact eBay and report the incident.

**************** Returns / Replacements Policy *******************
Please open all boxes immediately and check contents. We must be notified of any significantly damaged or defective products within 2 business days of you receiving your products. If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier; or please make sure when signing the shipper's proof-of-delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears damaged. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please inform us immediately. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier.

If the product is defective, you will receive a replacement. If you choose to return the defective item, rather than replace it, a restocking fee will be assessed and your original shipping and processing charges will not be refunded.

If after 30 days of receiving your product, it proves to be defective, we would like for you to deal with the manufacturer. They will inform you on how to proceed based on their policies.

It is very rare that you will receive an incorrect product; we double-check all orders before we ship them. However, if we made a mistake/error in shipping (it does rarely happen), please contact us by emailing or calling (512)989-7297. We will issue instruction on how and where to return the product. We will ship you the correct product and pay the shipping costs both ways.

***All returns are subject to a restocking fee. We have a standard restocking fee of 15-20% on ALL returned items***
***Returned product must be in resaleable condition and in original packaging [subject to approval]***

In the past we have shipped products over and over again until our customers found something they liked. We do not ship "trial or testing" products; we choose not to operate that way anymore.

There is substantial cost in processing orders and shipping products. There is also cost in returning products: messages must be answered, shipping labels issued, products received and restocked, paperwork processed, etc. Therefore, a restocking fee is required in order to keep our prices at their lowest.

If you are not sure about what you need or of a product, whether or not it will work for you, or whether it is of the quality you are expecting, you are better off doing your own research first. Over 99% of our customers are happy with us, and we have tens-of-thousands of satisfied customers. We would rather lose a sale than ship products to people who have expectations that we cannot meet, and who will or could end up unhappy with us. Please be certain that the products you are ordering are exactly what you want/need before placing your order with us. Lastly, we would like to thank you very much.

Important Shipping NOTICE: Posted shipping cost ONLY applies for lower 48 states. Shipping to HI/PR/AK/VI/GU may cost more. Please contact us before you place any order. Thank you.

BMW i8 production car revealed – costs £99,845: Frankfurt 2013

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

The new BMW i8 Hybrid (pictured) will cost £100k in the UK The BMW i8 jas finally arrived in production guise at the Frankfurt Motor show, neatly creating the top end of BMW’s new i-brand range after the BMW i3 underlined the starting point. Looking really quite appealing, the i8 uses the same carbon fibre reinforced plastic bodyshell and aluminium chassis construction as the i3, but whereas the i3 is built to be a city car, the i8 is the closest we’re likely to get to a 21st century version of the BMW M1. Similar in size to the Audi R8, the BMW i8 is a 2+2 with a 3-cylinder 1.5 litre engine and generator sitting at the back and driving the rear wheels and an electric motor at the front driving the front wheels, with a petrol tank at the back and the batteries for the electric motor stored in the centre tunnel.
