NEW Aero 53-985020BLK black chrome 5 on 5" wheel with 2" offset. The wheel is 15" in diameter by 8" wide. Aero Race Wheels 53 Series steel wheels are designed for dirt oval track use only. Wheel is IMCA stickered. The roll-formed 53 Series wheels feature a 7-hole D-window center disc made of HSLA material for strength and durability.  Comes with beadlock ring and 16 zinc plated flange bolts.  All beadlocks include mudcover installation kits with mudcover tabs incorporated into the inner ring to eliminate the need for welding. 
-Recommended for dirt track use only
-Designed for vehicles up to 3500 lbs.

GM claims 23-mpg average in E-ROD 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

First introduced in 2009, the GM Performance Parts (GMPP) E-ROD program was born with the mission of creating fuel-efficient, emissions-compliant engine packages for hot-rodders. Now the program is back in the news as GMPP claims that an E-ROD-powered 1955 Bel Air returned 23 mpg on a trip from Michigan to Florida while producing emissions comparable to those of a new Camaro SS. All of that green doesn't come inexpensive--or easy.

Production of U.S.-spec Lotus Exige and Elise to end in August

The end is near for production of U.S.-specification versions of the Lotus Elise and Exige sports cars. Lotus said on Thursday that it will pull the models from the United States because the airbags no longer meet safety standards. Rules require cars to have smart airbags, which adjust deployment for the speed of impact.
