This auction is for on 07.5-10 Silverado or Sierra with the Duramax 6.6L LMM diesel engine. This unit is brand new has been partially assembly but never hooked up. This unit also comes with a prefilter which is an add on. This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-4).The aFe Stage 2 cold air intake produces up to 8HP and up to 20 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 70%. This intake is a highly engineered heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filter duties is the PRO DRY S performance air filter that features 3-layers of progressively finer mesh synthetic "oil-free" media. The PRO DRY S filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation. Diamond Plate Cover: An attractive black diamond plate cover provides ready access to the filter for servicing and an aggressive style. Durable Heat Shield: A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. While 6" 360 Degree Air Filter: A cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum filtration (99.2% efficient) and convenience (requires no oils to clean). Infiniti's design future: where next for Nissan's BMW
Tue, 03 Aug 2010Infiniti’s design language, Dynamic Adeyaka, will be turned up on the next generation of the company’s cars, the brand's design chiefs have told CAR. And there are more concepts cars coming to showcase the styling direction, as Infiniti continues to persaude buyers from their BMWs. We won’t see anything at the 2010 Paris motor show (more details of the alliance with Daimler are expected to be the news there) but the 2010 LA, or 2011 Detroit or Geneva shows will host a new Infiniti concept car to follow on from the gorgeous Essence (pictured above with design director Shiro Nakamura). We told you the other day about Infiniti's new electric car coming in 2012.

Wed, 08 Jul 2009The Nissan GT-R sets a Lap Record at the Nurburgring Nissan has set several quick times at the Nurburgring in the GT-R – much to the consternation of Porsche who have accused Nissan of cheating – and this record lap was set during marathon few days back in April, where the Nissan GT-R set a Nurburgring time of 7:26.7. This video has Japanese commentary at the beginning – but who cares. It’s the lap you’re looking at.

Designed at Ford's California-based Strategic Concept Group under the direction of Freeman Thomas, the concept demonstrates that a compact car can also be pragmatic and functional. "I'm an enthusiast of minimalism but it should not be cold," Thomas said of the design when we met him in Beijing.
