Four million drivers aged over 70

THE NUMBER of people aged over 70 who hold driving licences has exceeded four million for the first time, according to the RAC Foundation. The oldest licence holder is a 107-year-old woman, while there are 191 people aged over 100 who have licences. Once people reach 70 they must declare whether or not they are fit to drive every three years, without having to take a driving or medical examination.

JAC Vision IV concept (w/ Gallery)

JAC revealed this four-door Vision IV concept at the Beijing Motor Show.  Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. CDN - Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Competition - Exterior Phase Update

There are less than two weeks left for European design students to submit their exterior entry to the Car Design News - Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition. The competition, which closes to entries on Friday February 11th, asks students to design a lounge exterior, based around the design of one of the three finalists of the interior competition.
