NEW Super Heavy Duty Billet housing torque converter for the Allison T-1000 found in the 2001-2005 5 speed and 2006-up 6 speed automatic Chevrolet & GMC HD trucks, WITH 8.1L GAS MOTOR. This super heavy duty converter has been fully brazed has the heavy duty BILLET housing and Torrington bearings.  This becomes an issue when you start pumping up the power or hauling heavy loads.  All converters come with a one year warranty.  I have a few other parts for the Allison that would be a nice upgrade along with this converter.  Check out my eBay Store for these items. And the beat goes on… Ford has been trawling the world’s car manufacturers (and Governments) for what seems like forever, in an increasingly desperate attempt to off-load its Swedish subsidiary, Volvo. They appear to have tried everyone from the Swedish Government to BMW and Mercedes, with a fair dose of Chinese firms in between (has Ford offered to sell it to you yet? Don’t worry, it won’t be long!) And now Reuters are reporting that yet another Chinese Car Co has declined the offer.
