A few months ago, the product plan at the Italian automaker centered around the existing MiTo and Giulietta (cousins of the 500 and Dart, respectively), the almost-at-hand 4C, the upcoming Giulia sedan and the Duetto, a roadster based on the next Miata. Since Mercedes now has an all German team we wonder if they’re trying a bit too hard to prove there’s a human face to the team, and it’s not all just Teutonic and robotic (and not, as yet, stunningly successful).

Saab 9-5 SportCombi - Debuts at Geneva It’s good to see Saab suddenly bursting in to life. We’re sure Saab don’t see it that way, having no doubt slaved away for the last year to get business back to some sense of normality after the GM sale debacle, but from outside that’s how it seems. Still, the flurry of activity heading in to Geneva is good to see.
