The tray comes with 4 3/8" mouting bolts which are used to hold the battery tray in place. Optionally you can also use the extra 4 screws in the 4 countersunk mounting holes. They are there to give you more mounting options for your vehicle or boat. You can always use all 8 included fasteners for super mounting strength! |

With 3 screws on each clamp to hold down your Optima battery, you know it will be held securely to the tray. We have designed these clamps to hold along the entire flat area of the Optima battery near the clamp for maximum holding force. |

All of our bottoms prevent the battery from sliding out of place when it is set inside the 1/4" pocket. This pocket is specially designed to follow the contour of the Optima battery keeping it firmly in place. |

Special attention has been paid to the countersunk holes where the machine screws sit. Each screw sits just a little lower than the surface giving a professional and smooth look. |

Technical Data
The L x W dimensions for this Optima Battery Tray are exactly 12.95" x 7.85". This means that you will need a minimum of a 13" x 7 7/8" area for the tray to fit. Which looks to be on the money if the photo above, which has turned up on the Toyota Prius Facebook page today, is anything to go by. The photo seems to make it clear that even though Toyota are using the tag line “The Prius family is getting a whole lot bigger” we should sensibly conclude that the biggest bit of bigger is that there will be an MPV and a plug-in.

Looking just like the new Ford KA Concept from Brazil – which got a European outing in Barcelona in December - the Figo Concept is a next-generation Ford KA with a an extra bit on the back and aimed at emerging markets. That ‘emerging markets’ aim seems clear when one of the major selling points, according to Ford, is the flexible architecture of the power door mirrors that makes it far less likely the mirror will be ripped off when hit by a passing car.
