Up for sale here is one practically brand new Offenhauser Part# 1079 aluminum single 4-barrel intake manifold! Fits the 1932-48 Ford 24 stud head V-8 and features a Carter WCFB bolt pattern. Included is one custom wood spacer/adapter for bolting on your traditional style Holley, Edelbrock, etc...carburetor w/("5 5/8"x 5 1/8) bolt pattern, and included as seen pictured are the carburetor studs. This intake manifold was used for less than 150 as the owner went to a 3x2 Stromberg set up.

Priced at only $235 for the setup, save an easy $100 as the wood adapter alone cost $55, plus $280 for the intake manifold. Please double check your application before making your purchase! As you can see in the 8th picture the alternator bracket has a special custom aluminum adapter that is included if needed/wanted, please see pictures for condition!

GM considers flagship sedan for Cadillac

Cadillac is considering a large, flagship sedan to take on the Mercedes-Benz S-class and BMW 7-series, a top General Motors official says. Mark Reuss, GM's president for North America, told Automotive News last month that a new flagship is on the table as GM maps its go-global strategy for Cadillac. A flagship would be a continuation of how GM has been positioning Cadillac's lineup to go head-to-head in each segment with BMW, Mercedes and Audi.

Bob Lutz to join EV start-up VIA Motors

Robert Lutz, the former General Motors Co. vice chairman who rejoined the automaker this month as an adviser, has taken a position with electric vehicle maker VIA Motors. Lutz's role at GM won't change because of the move, a GM spokesman said.
