Dacia Logan MCV (Estate) revealed: Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Renault’s budget brand – and driving force – Dacia reveals a new model to add to the Duster and Sandero – the Dacia Logan MCV Estate. Renault’s budget brand has hit at the hearts of cash-strapped motorists with two models, aimed at the mopping up sales in the space vacated by former budget brands like Hyundai and Kia, with the cracking little compact SUV Duster and the far from useless Sandero, and now it has a new car aimed at budget-conscious family motorists – the Dacia Logan MCV Estate. The Logan MCV (maximum capacity vehicle) shares a common platform with other Dacias and comes in at 4490mm long with enough room in the back for 573 litres of junk with the seats up or a fairly capacious 1518 litre with the back seats folded down and a huge 16 different storage areas dotted around.
Jaguar F-Type – new video ahead of debut
Thu, 20 Sep 2012We have new video of the Jaguar F-Type ahead of its reveal in a week’s time at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Jaguar then did pragmatic thing and released that rogue image of three F-Types officially (rather than twisting arms to take it down as sister company Land Rover did with the first photo of the 2013 Range Rover) so we could see the F-Type in decent detail. But just the one photo.
Aston Martin One-77 (2009) wins top design prize at Villa d’Este
Mon, 27 Apr 2009By Tim Pollard (photography by Mike Goodbun) First Official Pictures 27 April 2009 10:39 It’s having a long drawn-out gestation, but Aston Martin’s One-77 supercar made its world show debut at this weekend’s Villa d’Este, where it scooped the top prize for concept cars and prototypes. We’ll forgive you if you thought the One-77 had already been unveiled, but the car at Geneva was a technical cutaway rolling chassis – the first finished car is the one show in our photos above. The One-77 won more than 30% of the votes among the eight cars entered in its category.
