Here is one of the finest original timing covers for an AMC with the 304, 360, or 401 engine I have ever had. May even fit 343 but double check that. All bolt holes have been chased with correctly threaded bolts and they are all perfect. Dated 1981 on the clock as shown in the 6th photo and has the part number of 319067 and CFC and CE cast next to it. Thoroughly cleaned, it looks NOS except for the blue paint. All gasket surfaces are clean. Has the seal installed. Simply has TDC cast into it for Top Dead Center. Yep you can buy aftermarket ones for half as much and likely destroy distributor gears...or an engine. You get what you pay for. Many aftermarket ones don't have the steel insert in a lower bolt hole like this original one does. No flashing to come loose and destroy your engine.

Customers will pay between £85 and £165 on top of their 4x4's list price. The tax is optional, but Land Rover vows most punters will happily pay up to become carbon neutral.

Ford's sales chart-topping Fiesta supermini has been treated to its first mid-life set of tweaks. Chief among the changes are a new look for the car's nose, the choice of Ford's downsized 1.0-litre Ecoboost engine, and even more technology on board. The new Fiesta will make its debut on Ford's Paris motor show stand in September 2012, and will trickle through to UK showrooms shortly after.

Ford recalls 144,000 F-150s for airbag fix

Ford is recalling 144,000 F-150 pickups from the 2005 and 2006 model years because of concerns that the airbags may deploy without warning, the automaker said on Tuesday. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration advised Ford to recall the F-150 after investigating 238 reports of accidental airbag deployment. Seventy-seven injuries have been reported, including chipped teeth, minor burns and cuts to the arms, hands and face.
