For sale is a used  AMC 258 Inline 6,  4.2 L engine.  Off a 1979 CJ7 with 69,000 miles.  Engine looks to have been rebuilt as new tags are on the freeze plugs.  No dates listed and no paperwork.

Has a noise from under the valve cover.  Sounds like a lifter issue.  But it did run before taking it out.

Selling at half average core price.  If you can fix the noise you got a great deal.  Other wise its a great deal for a rebuild.

Local Pick Up only.  I can deliver or meet within a reasonable distance.  Its removed, loaded and ready to go.

This is a short block deal, head and main with internal cams only.  It does have the oil pump, valve cover, and oil pan.

No externals such as water pump, manifolds, therm housing, timing chain cover, distributor, etc.

Question please ask.

The Surface device is in essence a glitzy coffee table, with a built in PC running the new software from Microsoft. Based on the software Aston Martin currently uses on its website, the device allows the salesman to configure the car on a coffee table screen, with changes of colour and wheels showing on the screen.

VW & Porsche could become Auto Union

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

It looks like Porsche and VW may come together under the Auto Union banner. Of course, all these shenanigans have come about because of Porsche’s desire to gobble up VW. The plan looked great, and Porsche grabbed a big chunk of VW stock.
