Vintage P&C 2240 1+1/8 X 1+1/4 12 point box wrench. Wrench is 70 years old that I know of, has been well used and is as rugged as when it was new. Made in USA, it is 18" long. Has not been used since 1972, originally purchased used by me in 1964. Collector's item.

Gales and rain hit Christmas travel
Mon, 23 Dec 2013PEOPLE WANTING to get home for Christmas face major disruption as strong gales and torrential rain threaten to cause travel chaos. Severe weather warnings are in place for much of the UK today until 9am on Christmas Eve, threatening to cause localised flooding across southern England and Wales. Strong winds are expected across much of the UK, with winds of up to 80mph in coastal areas of southern England, while Scotland is braced for sleet and snow storms and icy roads, the Met Office said.

We’ve always made it clear that we believe the only sensible use for an electric car – certainly a BEV (battery electric vehicle) – is as a city car. There it makes sense with its zero emissions at the point of use, and the limited range available – from anything remotely resembling a sensible-sized battery pack – is not a problem.
