Don't get cocky, kid! I drained the battery more than it's ever been drained today. All the bars were gone and the little gas tank icon was flashing at me, with miles to go before I got to VSP Parking at Burbank Airport to plug in.

It's been almost a year since General Motors announced the end of the road for Pontiac. While the century-old brand has now joined Oldsmobile, Plymouth and a long list of other iconic makes in the automotive afterlife, the collector market remains more alive than ever. A lineup of 27 classic Pontiacs, including 17 GTOs, will cross the auction block in June.

Honda Passport recalled for suspension fix

Honda will recall 35,984 copies of the Passport SUV from the 1998 to 2002 model years in the United States for a suspension piece damaged by road-salt corrosion. The lower suspension link could become corroded in areas where road salt is used extensively. Honda says the lower link bracket could detach from the frame, which would affect handling and increase the risk of a crash.
