Nice, unusual original accessory INSTRUMENT DASH LAMP HOOD or COVER. This is designed to mount over a dash light (not included), has a red lens on the end and a clear lens on the side to direct light down (neither lens is glass). Red lens has a nice nickel trim ring. Light hood is about 2" overall, 1" diameter at the outer end, and mounting is designed to fit a 1-1/8" dash light with provision for a "2 pin twist and lock" system. Original unrestored condition is as shown, and we opened it up for photos so you would not have any surprises so please look closely at photos. Interesting antique part from the 1930's through 1940's time period. Doubt that you will ever see another light like this. Don't miss out on a rare chance for this authentic period accessory ! Chrysler future products: Only one minivan, no Jeep Compass
Tue, 29 May 2012In 2014, Chrysler Group will drop the Jeep Compass and replace the Chrysler Town & Country minivan with a crossover, Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has revealed. The changes are part of a long-term effort by Marchionne to give each Chrysler Group brand a more distinct identity and eliminate product overlaps. Brand identity is crucial for Chrysler because more than 90 percent of its dealerships now sell all four volume brands: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.
MG6 CO2 emissions reduced to 129g/km
Thu, 17 Oct 2013The MG6 may have just become a little more appealing, with the news that the GT and Magnette diesel variants are now more efficient than before. CO2 figures are down from 139g/km to 129g/km and average fuel consumption has been improved from a claimed 55.3mpg to 57.6mpg. This results in the MG6 dropping a tax band from E to D.
