NEW master rebuild kit for the 07/19/1983 - 1989 4x4 AOD transmission This kit contains all Borg-Warner clutches and "Steel plates." Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing. This kit also comes now with both the OD and reverse bands. Remember to soak all of your clutches in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install them.

Fri, 03 Feb 2012Audi A5 TDIe offers more efficient engines in Sportback & Coupe Audi has made the A5 Coupe and Sportback even more efficient with two new TDIe engines and SE Technik specification option. We’ve only just reported the powerful BiTurbo 3.0 litre diesel engines for the Audi A6 and A7, and now we get news from Audi of diesel engines at the other end of the spectrum with new, more efficient TDIe engines for the Audi A5 Coupe and A5 Sportback. The new efficient TDIe engines come in either a 136PS or 163PS versions, with fuel economy as impressive as 64.2mpg in the A5 Sportback 2.0 TDIe 136PS.

Which is not a car we had on our radar, but with MINI any sub niche of a sub niche is fair game, so it seems highly likely that a beefed up S version of the diesel MINI Cooper is in the offing. As we reported just the other day, we’ve already had at least a dozen new MINIs launched or revealed in 2009 alone.

Now, a couple of weeks ahead of the Beijing Show, we get the first photo of that concept – the Peugeot Exalt Concept – which seems to have been sent out a few days earlier than Peugeot intended in an overnight press release dated 10th April. Oh, well.
