NEW master rebuild kit for the 1980-7/19/1983 2x4 AOD transmission

This kit contains all clutches and steel plates. Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing. This kit also comes now with both the OD and reverse bands.

Remember to soak all of your clutches in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install them.

Chrysler offers up to $6,000 in incentives on some cars

Wed, 06 May 2009

If consumers can overcome the connotations that ride shotgun with buying a new car from an automaker in bankruptcy, there are some deals to be had on Chrysler vehicles. The company said Wednesday that it will offer up to $6,000 in incentives on some of its new cars in May in the wake of a 48 percent sales drop in April. The incentives run through June 1.

Renault Alpine A110-50

Fri, 25 May 2012

As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.

GM to build Cadillacs outside the U.S.

Tue, 07 Jun 2011

General Motors CEO Dan Akerson said Tuesday that the company plans to begin building Cadillacs outside the United States by the end of 2012 as part of its plan to make GM's premium brand a true global nameplate. Akerson said overseas Cadillac production would reduce the risk of foreign-currency fluctuations and allow GM to better manage its supply chain. Although Cadillac long has been sold in China and other international markets, it's produced only in North America.
