Billet Wheel and Cover Kit for 2007.5-2014 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins

The Applied Performance Products Billet Wheel and Cover (BWC) was developed to improve the performance of the OE Holset HE351VE turbocharger. This kit consists of a 66mm CNC Billet Aluminum compressor wheel and Cast A356 Aluminum compressor housing machined to accept this wheel. The larger than OE compressor wheel increases the available airflow while improving the turbine/compressor balance. This combination reduces the drive pressure on the turbine wheel and lowers exhaust gas temperature (EGT). The exhaust brake characteristics are not affected by the installation of the Applied Performance Products BWC. Additional fueling is not required, but it is recommended to take advantage of the additional airflow supplied by this modification.

Features:
Billet CNC Aluminum Compressor Wheel
Cast A356 Aluminum Housing
Housing custom machined to fit Billet Wheel

  • Toyota recalls Toyota Avensis & Lexus IS 250

    Wed, 26 Jan 2011

Toyota recall the Avensis & Lexus IS 250 Toyota must have a sinking feeling of deja vu today, as the spectre of last year came back to haunt. 2010 was the year of the Toyota Recall, with millions of cars worldwide recalled to address the ‘Throttlegate’ issue of sticky accelerator pedals. But today’s recall announcement is not in that league, affects less than 20,000 cars in the UK (although over 1 million worldwide) and there have been no reports of any accidents relating to the recall in the UK.

New Land Rover Freelander will actually be a Discovery

    Wed, 22 May 2013

It seems – as we expected – that Land Rover are looking to make more sense of their range of off-roaders as new models are launched, and are going to concentrate on three core brands – Range Rover, Discovery and Defender – instead of the current mish-mash where many models really overlap with others (the top end Discoverys are really a cheaper Range Rover). So the next Freelander will become an entry-level Discovery with underpinnings borrowed from the Evoque (which is itself based on the current Freelander platform, a development of the Ford Galaxy’s platform), and arrive in both 5-seat and 7-seat guise, with the new Discovery ’5′ getting a platform based on the new Range Rover and perhaps spawning two models. The new Discovery range will be targeted as a ‘Lifestyle’ core range for Land Rover (much as the original Disco was) and the Range Rover range will be both sporty and luxurious, with a 7-seat Grand Evoque XL joining the current Evoque, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.
