Shipping:  Place an order by 10am, and it ships the same day!  Otherwise, items will be shipped the next business day.  Items are shipped utilizing USPS and UPS.  We will respect the Buyer’s wish to ship either USPS or UPS, but will utilize the least expensive shipping method possible.  On items that are shipped for “FREE” we will utilize the least expensive option possible, which may include “parcel select” or Speedee.

Shipping During the Holiday Season:  Be advised that we cannot guarantee the expected shipment arrival date that eBay posts.  Those are based on calculations that may not take into consideration an increase in parcel traffic.  We will always provide a tracking number with the order so the Buyer may follow the parcel to its destination.  Please allow extra time for its arrival.

Combined Shipping:  If the Buyer wishes to combine ship items, the Buyer must request an invoice before payment.  Because we utilize calculated shipping for most items, the shipping will be based on the cumulative weight and package dimension to determine shipping costs.  Oversized items are not eligible to combine ship.

Payment Policy:  We only accept PayPal for eBay purchases.  Please have a PayPal account established before making a purchase.  Purchases without payment will be sent an invoice after 24 Hours.  If a payment is not made by the fourth day after purchase, an unpaid case will be opened against the Buyer.

Return Policy:  We provide a 30 Day Return Policy – unless otherwise stated.  All we ask is that the Buyer logs into eBay to create a return.  We will then issue an RMA.  The items must be returned in the same condition that they are shipped.  They must include all tags, be free of hair, exhaust, smoke, dirt, grease, or any other environmental factors.  The Buyer is responsible to absorb all shipping costs on exchanges.  We will not pay for any shipping for an exchange.  Exchanges involving moving a size up such as XL to 2XL, will involve a price increase.   If the Buyer does not utilize eBay’s return process to generate a return, we will not process the return.  We will refund the original purchase price on the product.  We will not refund the original shipping that the Buyer paid.    Items that were shipped for free will result in a 10% Restocking Fee.

Vauxhall launches speed limit detectors on Insignia (2008)

Thu, 19 Jun 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 19 June 2008 07:53 Vauxhall's new Insignia will be the first of a wave of cars to have a forward-facing camera that can read road signs. The optional kit will detect speed limit and no overtaking signs – and flash up a reminder to the driver on the dashboard.GM calls the tech, which will be launched in early 2009, Traffic Sign Recognition and it uses a small, wide-angled camera system supplied by Hella. It sits at the top of the windscreen near the rain sensors and rear-view mirror, scanning the road ahead taking 30 photos per second. It's 1984 all over again...With a range of 100 metres, the camera focuses on circular patterns and then interprets the numbers inside by contour comparison; if a match is found on the software's database, that road sign will be flashed up in the driver's binnacle. The front-facing camera is also used as a lane departure warning system, alerting the driver if they unintentionally swerve out of their lane on a motorway.Cars with cameras: a growing trendMore and more manufacturers are fitting cameras to their cars nowadays and you can expect a flood of systems like the Insignia's to be launched in 2009, including the new BMW 5-series.CAR tried out these new systems on Bosch prototypes in 2007.

First McLaren P1 customer cars delivered & specs and performance confirmed

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

First McLaren P1 customer cars delivered With McLaren starting production of the P1 earlier this month, and the P1 has now starting to arrive in the hands of real customers (which, it appears, is more than Ferrari can manage with LaFerrari) with it comes confirmation of the immense performance the P1 offers. The 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds is impressive enough, but the 0-124mph of just 6.8 seconds, quarter mile of 9.8 seconds (at 152mph terminal speed) and a limited top speed of 217mph makes the new P1 astonishingly quick. If we look at the P1′s rivals claims for performance, LaFerrariu comes close with (vague) promises from Ferrari of a 0-62mph under 3 seconds and a 0-124mph if under 7 seconds.
