DESCRIPTION: Art deco speed boat racing trophy in brown bakelite with brass sections. Brass plate reads L.M.B.C. Inc. Lowell, Mass. 1st Annual Outboard Regatta Aug. 10, 1952 Class BB First Place. Has makers name cast in bottom Dodge Inc.. Outboard speedboat trophy top is 4 1/4" long. Trophy stands 10" tall overall and base is 3 1/2" x 5 5/8" across and weighs 1 pound and 7 ounces and is in excellent condition. I am listing quite a few speedboat trophies with buy it now prices and will consider reasonable offers. Can combine sales to save you shipping costs. Tue, 08 Nov 20112012 Audi A4 - UK Prices start from 'under' £24k The facelifted Audi A4 isn’t a new A4 for 2012, just one with plenty of tweaks and changes under the skin to freshen it up for its battle against the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. The new Audi A4 was revealed at the end of October - together with the facelift for the S4 and A4 Allroad – and it brings with it some decent styling updates, a more upmarket interior and changes under the bonnet. There’s a new 1.8 litre TFSI with 170bhp and 50.4mpg, although you can still have the old 1.8 TFSI with 118bhp, and it’s the old A4 1.8 TFSI Audi are trumpeting as ‘sub £24k’, although for some reason they’re not being specific.
Saab gets more cash from China partner
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Saab has received another cash boost from its new China partner Pang Da with an additional order for 630 cars, worth 15 million euros or $21.7 million at current exchange rates. The order comes on top of an order for 1,300 cars worth $43.3 million (30 million euros) received by Saab from Pang Da in May. The Chinese company will pay in advance for the order and delivery of the vehicles will start in the third quarter, Saab said.
Jaguar C-X17 concept (2013) design boss Ian Callum on interior design
Mon, 09 Sep 2013As with all concept cars, the Jaguar C-X17’s interior is the least production-viable element of the entire design, but it does give vital clues to the direction that design boss Ian Callum and his team are evaluating for the future. The focus is on clean, strong, flowing design, one that shuns clutter for pared-back simplicity. Open the door and you’ll notice both the sense of space and the small F-type steering wheel and four individual bucket seats, the latter two elements suggesting a nimble, involving driving experience.
