DESCRIPTION: Art deco speed boat racing trophy with catalin base. Brass plate reads "2nd Annual Bass River 1952 Outboard Marathon Class B-1, 2nd". The butterscotch catalin measures 3 3/8" x 3 3/8" x 2 1/2" and weigs 11.4 ounces. The marbled catalin base measures 4 3/4" x 5" x 1 3/8" high and weighs 10.2 ounces. Outboard speedboat trophy top is 4 1/4" long. Trophy stands 10 3/8" tall overall and weighs 2 pounds and 12 ounces and is in excellent condition. I am listing quite a few speedboat trophies with buy it now prices and will consider reasonable offers. Can combine sales to save you shipping costs.

Packing: When shipping paper items, they are protected by plastic bag and placed between 2 pieces of cardstock and placed inside a priority mail flat rate or a manila envelope. Additionally, a note saying "Please Do Not Bend" is written in marker on the envelope. All items that are boxed go individually in plastic bags, are wrapped in newspaper with newspaper packing all around in stiff cardboard boxes.

Kia will unveil an, as yet, unnamed concept car at the Geneva motor show this March. The concept, which the carmaker calls ‘provocative and racy', features a new take on Kia's signature tiger nose aesthetic that integrates the headlamps into the grille design in a narrow, full-width strip. The lamps themselves seem to be contructed of a pixelted, mesh-like light source.

Chris Evans’ second petrolhead extravaganza – CarFest North at Cholmondeley Castle – has been as big a success as CarFest South. It may be a new petrolhead show on the calendar, but Chris Evans’ CarFest Shows have been a real success, not just for visitors but for the BBC’s Children in Need charity. This last weekend saw CarFest North try and follow in the footsteps of last month’s CarFest South, which it appears to have done in style, pushing the amount raised for Children in Need up to £800k from both CarFest events.

MOST LONDONERS reckon congestion is going to worsen in their city over the next five years. But they are heavily divided on the best way of beating the jams, according to a YouGov survey for business group London First. As many as 40% of the 1,055 adults polled said congestion would increase a lot, while 38% believed it would increase a little.
