Brand new GT Racing hood/bonnet for Aston Martin V8 & V12 Vantage cars.

The part is designed and manufactured exclusively by The V Collection.

The GT Racing hood fits both the Coupe and Roadster models and replaces the factory hood/bonnet.

The hood comes complete with all hardware and black meshes for complete installation.

The hood is made of FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) and is supplied in primer ready to paint or wrap.

The GT Racing hood/bonnet has three new prominent outlets sculpted into the hood along with a more pronounced and enlarged power bulge.  These elements all improve engine cooling and efficiency.

The hood gives the car a more aggressive racing look and is reminiscent of the vented hood on the Aston Martin Racing Cars.

Please view our other Aston Martin V8 & V12 Vantage products available.

Please note that all domestic buyers will have the hood shipped via LTL shipping.  All international buyers will have the hood shipped in a wooden crate via DHL Global Forwarding.  All buyers should contact us for accurate shipping quote to your specific location prior to purchasing.

It's a two-seater speedster version of the Beetle hatch, driven by an 85kW electric drive system; essentially, the powertrain of this car is what will underpin the 2013 Blue-e-motion electric Golf.

GM Advanced Design California celebrates 10th Anniversary

Wed, 24 Nov 2010

On the eve of the 2010 LA Auto Show, GM's California Advanced Design Studio opened its doors in North Hollywood, to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. Based in a former bakery, the studio occupies a relatively small space in North Hollywood/Burbank with studio warehouses and small outbuildings sharing the plot, creating an environment that – if not for the palm trees – could easily double for the artisan workshops of a firm in old Europe. Yet on the night itself, the studio took on an altogether ethereal appearance – light-filled globes floated above the buildings and grounds, casting a blue/white hue across the venue.
