USED AstroStart keyless auto-start remote transmitter fob, FCC ID: J5FRS-3T, DOC: 1854 K 1066. I purchased this remote used and have no information regarding its history. The remote was tested using a wireless RF remote tester. Signal was detected. The green indicator light also illuminated when the button was pressed. This is in no way a guarantee (or even a claim) that the remote functions properly. It simply means that my wireless RF remote tester detected signal from the remote when the button was pressed. The remote is being sold AS IS. This means that by either bidding on this listing or purchasing it using the Buy It Now function, you certify that you are aware you are buying a USED remote, that the purchase of used goods with unknown histories comes with the risk that they may or may not function properly, that you are prepared to take this risk, and that you are aware that I offer no warranties, no returns/exchanges, and no refunds. Furthermore, I deal in many different brands and models of used remotes/fobs. As such, I am not able to provide compatibility or programming information. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that this remote is compatible with their product/vehicle and that they have access to the necessary programming instructions prior to bidding on - or buying - the listing. Compatibility confirmation and programming instructions can usually be obtained by contacting the manufacturer or an authorized dealer of your product/vehicle, and/or sometimes by consulting information online by performing a search.

I ship within 1-2 business days after buyer's payment posts (I try my best to stay within 1 business day), at no charge via USPS First Class Mail to the continental U.S. only. For those outside the continental U.S., I participate in eBay's Global Shipping Program. If you live outside the continental U.S. and within one of the regions included in the Global Shipping Program, and you are quoted a shipping price by eBay when you attempt to bid on - or buy - any of the items I have listed, be advised that the quoted shipping price is being charged by eBay to ship from the Global Shipping Program hub to your location. None of that shipping fee goes to me. Please do not contact me in an attempt to negotiate a shipping price quoted by eBay's Global Shipping Program. I have no control over the amount.

Toyota FT-86: Now standard FT-86 leaks

Sat, 29 Oct 2011

The Toyota FT-86 leaks again - this time the standard model After what seems like years of waiting for Toyota’s sporty and ‘affordable’ sports car – the Toyota FT-86 – to arrive, information is coming thick and fast as the official debut looms at the Toyota Motor Show in a month’s time. Just a few days ago we had pictures of the Toyota FT-86 with Modellista extras, which gave us the clearest look yet at what the new FT-86 in production guise will offer. And now we get what appears to be a standard Toyota FT-86 from another Japanese brochure leak.

Exotics get sideways at Monticello's 'Drift With the Supercars'

Mon, 25 Oct 2010

Monticello Motor Club president Ari Straus and his PR guy, Roger Garbow, were brainstorming in early October and came up with what initially sounded like a crazy idea: Bring a bunch of supercars to the track for a day of drifting. "Beer was involved," says Garbow, in an attempt to rationalize the insanity of the concept. The next day, the two decided it was still a crazy idea.

Dusting off chavs in a 1963 Jaguar Mark II 3.8

Thu, 24 Jun 2010

The guy in the baseball cap with the gold sticker still on the peak glanced across and registered nothing. The empty sound of 1.6 litres of Citroen’s finest fell impotently out through an exhaust pipe larger than a drain. Content in the thought that he did not need to worry about the old-fashioned chrome laden crock next to him, the lights turned to amber and he drew his elbow in through the window as the glow of blue LEDs emanating from under the sills launched down the road, followed by the un-silenced sound of French chipped distress.
