It was purchased by our company as a new item, and then later sold, but it was returned because it does not work properly. There is a piece inside the box that rattles around, so it will need to be professionally tested and overhauled before being installed onto an aircraft. Audio International's ACM-5-CA is a compact, lightweight audio selector module. It provides individual audio selection and volume control at each seat location or to speaker amplifiers and has the capability to select up to five (5) different audio sources. For versatility, the module is designed with a user-accessible dipswitch for audio source select control and is ideal for simple audio distribution systems due to its small size and easy interface capabilities.

Honda loses case over Civic hybrid mileage

Honda was ordered to pay $9,867 in a Los Angeles Small Claims Court lawsuit to a woman who says her Civic hybrid didn't get the fuel mileage that was advertised, according to Bloomberg News. “I am absolutely thrilled at the reports that I won, even though I won't see the actual judgment until it comes in the mail,” Heather Peters said in an e-mailed statement on Wednesday to the wire service. “It's a victory for Civic hybrid owners everywhere.” Peters opted out of a class action and filed her own case in small-claims court, where plaintiffs and defendants represent themselves.

Ford MyKey system now limits cell phone use for teens

Ford's MyKey system has been able to limit speeds and audio volume to improve teen-driver safety. Now, new technology will allow the system to limit cell phone use as well. Launching on the 2012 Ford Explorer, the new technology means that, when hooked up to Sync, the teen's phone will send calls to voicemail and save texts for later reading, but drivers can still make voice-activated outgoing calls.
