Austin Mini / Midget Titan Hi-lift 1.5 Rockers on 2040-parts.com
Shepherdsville, Kentucky, United States
I've been keeping these, but am unlikely to ever need them again.
I purchased them many years ago from Endaf Owens when the 1.5 ratio rockers were banned in the Miglia series. They are in great mechanical condition, but the side of a few of the arms got chewed up when I let someone borrow them to try 1.5 rockers on his mini as a back-to-back. I linished them back, and made the hardened caps you see in the pics to stop the posts from getting damaged. They are ready to fit. All rockers and tips spin freely just as they should. Thanks for looking, TurboDave |

Porsche 911 parade at Silverstone Classic hits record breaking 1,208
Tue, 30 Jul 20131,208 Porsche 911s hit the Silverstone track to celebrate Porsche-s 50th anniversary Last month, we reported that plans by Silverstone Classic to run a record-breaking parade of Porshe 911s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Porsche had garnered so many applications that Silverstone has to stop accepting applications nearly two months ahead of the event. Now the 2013 Silverstone Classic 911 Parade has happened it seems Silverstone decided to go for broke, and instead of the originally planned parade of 911 911s, they actually managed to drive 1,208 911s round the Silverstone track at the same time – a new record. As well as 1208 911s, Porsche and the organisers of the Silverstone Classic managed to entice a number of names along too, including Mark Porsche – great grandson of Porsche founder, Ferdinand Porsche – former F1 and Le Mans driver Derek Bell and Le Mans drivers John Fitzpatrick and Richard Attwood.
Call for Entries: CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition 2012
Fri, 06 Jul 2012With temperatures soaring across North America, there's no better time to hunker down in an air-conditioned room with your pen, vellum, and markers (or, more realistically, your computer and tablet) and get working on your entries into the GM Interactive Design Competition 2012. It's only been a month since the official launch of the 2012 GM Interactive Design Competition and we're already seeing strong participation and a very high level of quality for the entries. Open to all full-time college or university students from across the US and Canada, this competition is a great way to gain exposure, but also to keep up and improve your skills over the summer. With five paid internships (housing included) at GM's studios in Warren, MI up for grabs, there's no better launchpad for your career in the automotive industry, and getting your entries online early also gives you a head-start on the competition by allowing the public and mentors to critique and review your work.
Jaguar B99 by Bertone: Still looks like Jaguar past to us
Wed, 02 Mar 2011The Bertone B99 Jaguar Concept – Still looks like a pastiche to us With Jaguar looking more than seriously at a New Small Jaguar to take the BMW 3 Series on at its own game, it seems almost certain Jaguar’s had a part to play in the design of Bertone’s take on a smaller Jaguar – the Bertone B99. Did they purposely ask Bertone to style a car that draws big cues from Jaguar’s own history? Or was that Bertone’s doing?
