Production output decline slowing

The data, presented by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), show that, while production levels are still on the decline, the pace at which they are declining is slowing. Car production figures for June 2009 are still down by 30.2% compared with this time last year, however this is an improvement on the 50.2% by which production is down so far this year.

2009 Bentley Arnage headed for Pebble Beach debut

Bentley is one of the featured marques at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the British luxury-car maker will use the event as the stage to roll out the successor to the Arnage. On Wednesday, Bentley released a second teaser photo of the new car. It shows a slanted C-pillar and a curved body-character line flowing into the rear quarter-panel.
