Molded from heat proof U/V resistant ABS plastic with matching grain they match the interior look and feel of your trucks factory interior. Designed for mounting 2-1/16th inch gauges (commonly referred to as 2 inch gauges) they and completely cover the factory A pillar in your truck with the exception of the 2003-2008 Ram (see note below). They are easily paintable to match your trucks factory interior color, and will not warp, crack, or deteriorate over time. Note: All Gauge Mount Pillars come in Black with the exception of Part #: 17212 and 17213 for 2003-2008 Dodge RAM trucks. Pioneer App Radio officially unveiled
Fri, 27 May 2011Pioneer has officially unveiled the App Radio that AutoWeek told you about earlier this month. Now that it's willing to talk, Pioneer claims that the radio and audio system is "the first in-vehicle product designed to utilize the processing power, storage capacity, network connectivity and apps of the iPhone and iPod Touch as the primary source for its information and entertainment capabilities." That does sound a lot like what Mini Connected and, in a more platform-agnostic sense, Ford Sync are doing. Pioneer said it couldn't speak to the similarity of those systems, but Ted Cardenas, director of marketing for Pioneer's car-electronics division, briefed us on installation of the device and what Pioneer is doing to minimize driver distraction.

Even though we’ve become used to Hyundai’s offerings becoming more credible every year, the Hyundai i40 Tourer is a different kettle of fish altogether. It’s one thing producing ever more credible small budget cars – and even budget crossovers/SUVs – that become less budget and more competitive with each iteration, but throwing your hat in the ring to take on the Mondeo with the new i40 is a big jump.
