Vauxhall's new badgeWed, 09 Apr 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 April 2008 00:00 Vauxhall has redesigned its griffin badge - and the new Insignia is the first car that will bear the new mascot. It's a typically modern rebranding: the graphic designers have zoomed in on the upper torso of the griffin, giving it a sharper, modern look and the word Vauxhall is now incorporated in the badge. The company's grille-wide V front end will be abandoned, the new grille preferring an Opel-style roundel, enlarged and sitting slap bang in the middle of the grille. It's not all change, however. Art Center College of Design Summer Show 2007Fri, 07 Sep 2007Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, held its summer semester show in August, one of three graduation shows per year. The show featured work from 14 graduating students in the Bachelor of Science - Transportation Design program. Yamaha DY-2 City Walker Concept - Daisuke Akojima One of four boldly defined and colorful concepts presented by Akojima, the Yamaha DY-2 City Walker is a gyroscopically-balanced two-wheel city vehicle, that can be easily towed or linked with other City Walkers using electro-magnetic coupling, and small enough to be taken on specially prepared commuter trains. Ford drives the Peel P50 in to the new Transit – and turns it aroundTue, 06 May 2014The Peel P50 drives in to the new Ford Transit The new Ford Transit offers lots of room for ‘Stuff’, something Ford decided to demonstrate by enlisting the world’s smallest car to demonstrate. It may be simply a take on Jeremy Clarkson’s games with the Peel in and around the BBC Television Centre – and you don’t get John Humphries driving the Peel or Fiona Bruce (and her bottom) pushing it back out – but you do get a good idea of just how big the new Transit is. We’re not entirely sure that turning the Peel around in the Transit – and yes, this Peel is fitted with a reverse gear, unlike Clarkson’s – demonstrates the Transit is any bigger than just driving in and driving out would, but the endless faffing to achieve an about turn is an excuse to use some Benny Hill-esque music to pass the time. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
