Baron Flathead Ford Racing Engine Girdle This beautifully manufactured Tony Baron Ford flathead racing engine girdle has never been installed in an engine. It is brand new and was only removed from its box for photographing. This setup significantly stabilizes and fortifies a flathead’s lower end. These Baron caps are a vast improvement over stock Ford flathead engine main caps. These girdles are often used with larger displacement Ford flathead engines, and work extremely well with blown, injected, or Ardun overhead valve engines. Their workmanship and detail are incredible. I’m told by H and H Flatheads that Baron Racing sells this set up in the mid $800’s? You can purchase mine for less. The new design aims to improve fuel economy through improved aerodynamics and has a drag coefficient of 0.298, achieved with the aid of Nissan's first Active Grille Shutter. The Versa Note, which uses the carmaker's global ‘V' platform, sits on a long wheelbase of 2,600mm and has short front and rear overhangs.
BMW M5 comes alive with all-wheel drive

It will be the first time the car houses a turbocharged powerplant, the first time a dual-clutch gearbox is used and, most importantly, the first time the M5 gets all-wheel drive. That's the word from BMW brass in Shanghai, where Albert Biermann, head of BMW M's research and development, confirmed the powertrain, Autocar reports.
