THE BARRACUDA BUGGY KITSET

The Barracuda has taken the Mini buggy concept to a whole new level of technical advancement & sophistication.

For more than 20 years The Edge Products have been designing and building Mini buggies and are without question the Mini buggy world leader.

From concept to design, development and thousands of buggies manufactured has resulted in the Barracuda, a lean and aggressive long travel buggy that you can build yourself.

But just because it’s a Mini Buggy, don’t let that fool you.

Powered by the Suzuki GSXR1300 Hayabusa or Kawasaki ZXR 1400 motor cycle engine the Barracuda is a weapon that very few can tame.

For a fraction of the price you have Super Car acceleration, except your doing it in the dirt.

An all new Double A arm front suspension design features rod end camber & castor adjustment & long 20” suspension travel.

Combined with a super tough rear suspension that uses proven 930 Porsche CV’s for durability, high power capacity & long travel capability.

The power to weight ratio is what gives this beast it’s advantage.

Handling is nothing short of breathtaking.

Acceleration like a Ferrari & cornering like a rally car.

No other offroad buggy corners as fast as the Barracuda.

And not much else out accelerates the Barracuda either.

In fact the Barracuda has a higher power to weight ratio than a World rally car, at a mere fraction of the cost.

This is no Go Kart, it’s a serious off-road performer.

In fact it’s such as serious buggy it won the New Zealand National Mickey Thompson offroad series in 2012 & 2013. And it was up against race spec Raceco & Jimco Baja type buggies………..and beat them all.

Listed here is the Barracuda Rolling kitset.

What we call a BCKIT.

Basically it’s the whole buggy minus engine & paint.

The kit is Fully welded, with all parts included.

With this kit, all you need to do is install a suitable engine, fit an exhaust, modify the bike wiring to suit the buggy, paint & assemble & your in the dirt having fun.

Say Chevrolet--not Chevy--GM tells employees

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

From racetracks in the heartland to the iconic strains of “American Pie,” one word--Chevy--has transcended class and culture and helped raise the bow-tie brand to the lofty status as one of the most recognized in the world. But now, one of the most blue-collar and singularly American marques is going formal: General Motors has told its employees to use the world “Chevrolet” instead of the commonly used “Chevy” nickname. An internal memo distributed this week directs workers to use the official name in all communications, from official duties to simple conversations.

2012 Porsche Boxster unveiled

Thu, 12 Jan 2012

2012 Porsche Boxster revealed The 2012 Porsche Boxster has been revealed with a new lightweight body, revised chassis and engines – and looking much the same as the old Boxster. The 2012 Porsche Boxster (or, as always, if you’re on the other side of the Pond, the 2013 Porsche Boxster) has been revealed, not at the Detroit Auto Show, but, just as Audi did yesterday with the A6 Allroad, as a diversion from the car antics in North America. Looking, as you would expect from Porsche, little different to the current Boxster, the new Porsche Boxster does however get a thorough makeover of body, engines and chassis to make the new Boxster fit to fight for another decade (or so).
