        The Bat

The Bat-Pac Battery Eliminator

Eliminate the need for a battery for many
 Motorcycle ATV Scooter Snowmobile
If your application has an electric starter, you will lose that function

THE Bat-Pac WAS DEVELOPED BECAUSE OF A FEW PROBLEMS WITH MANY CHARGING SYSTEMS.
Charging system design in most Motorcycle, ATV,  ATC,  Scooter,  Snowmobile;  rely on a good battery before the charging system can work properly and to its designed potential.

Overloading the charging systems components by the use of a weak or dead battery is a  common problem. Extremely low charge conditions from a weak or dead battery can draw enormous amounts of current in order to bring the battery up to a charged state. Vibration and extreme conditions can also damage a battery internally by  shorting-out the plates within a battery, this will  cause an excessive current draw. Excessive voltage outputs from the charging system are also likely if running without a battery, or using a battery with low or no fluid (electrolyte).
Repairs from  excessive current draw, or excessive voltage output usually require an expert's  trouble shooting skills, and the replacement of expensive electronic components including but not limited to  the  regulator,  rectifier,  stator,  armature,  CDI, and such.

Replace that heavy, unreliable, environmentally destructive, lead acid battery.

The Bat-Pac weights in at 2.5 ounces. Size is 1x1x2.5" (Aluminum case epoxy filled)
The Ba-tPac's
voltage output is better at idle, and more stable and cleaner at all R.P.M.'s
The Headlight is brighter at idle, than with a good battery on most models.
The Bat-Pac is maintenance free, and has a Lifetime Replacement Warranty,
The Bat-Pac is built to endure extreme conditions and temperatures of  +105C / +221F.

Please realize, there is no available power until the motor is running.
If your application has an electric starter, you will lose this function.

Compatibility issues:

In general, if it has a permanent magnet flywheel, chances are the Bat-Pac will work.
Older bikes that have a point type magneto can also use the Bat-Pac. If it uses a
brush type generator/alternator to power the ignition then the Bat-Pac won't work.
The reason for this is because the permanent magnets can induct enough current
in the stator coils to start the engine, whereas brush type charging systems require
a current source with several amps of current capacity to magnetize the windings of the rotor,
and the primary windings of the ignition coils.

The Bat-Pac works on all that have a magneto CDI/ stator alternator systems.
The Bat-Pac is compatible with 6 and 12 volt systems, positive or negative ground.
The Bat-Pac can be used along with a battery for improved voltage output of the charging system .
Testing a Bat-Pac on a non-compatible charging system will not damage anything

Ford Mustang adds ‘Mayhem' to its option list

Mon, 09 May 2011

The social networks have spoken: The Ford Mustang V6 Performance package will now be known as the Mayhem Mustang package. Ford put out a call to its 1.4 million Facebook fans with the question, “What should we call the Mustang V6 Performance package?” More than 3,000 submissions were made via Ford's Facebook page, and almost 6,700 users installed the “You Name It” app. The winning submission came from a fan in North Carolina, who won a three-year lease on the 2012 Ford Mustang V6.

Peugeot Citroen idles Slovak factory over falling orders

Thu, 20 Oct 2011

PSA to halt production of 207 & C3 Picasso in Slovakia The news that Peugeot Citroen (PSA) is to suspend production at its factory in Trnava, Western Slovakia, as orders for cars fall away, is another sign of the impending gloom in the Euro zone car industry. PSA has revealed that the Trnava factory – which produces the Peugeot 207 and Citroen C3 Picasso – will be shut from October 28th to November 18th (a period which does include two bank holidays) as orders start to fall away and production exceeds demand. But this announcement seems to be the tip of the iceberg for PSA’s factory closures.

First Sight: Holden VE Commodore and Statesman

Fri, 28 Jul 2006

GM Holden last week launched its biggest program ever, the $1 billion all-new Holden VE Commodore range. Designed at Holden's Port Melbourne design center, the 4th generation Commodore is the first all-new model of the series to be fully designed and engineered in Australia. Previous generations of Commodore since 1978 have always been based on lengthened and widened Opel large car platforms of the day but since the demise of the European Omega in 2003, GM lacked a suitable rear-wheel-drive donor platform for a new Commodore, hence the clean sheet approach for the latest VE model.
