Aston Martin has rekindled its association with famed Italian design house and coachbuilder Zagato on a rebodied and re-engineered version the V12 Vantage. Set to be one of the stars of this weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato commemorates the 50th anniversary of Aston Martin's first collaboration with Zagato, the DB4GT Zagato. Smart forstars concept

The Smart forstars concept is set to be unveiled the week after next at the Paris motor show. Clearly related to the For-Us concept seen at NAIAS in Detroit earlier this year, the grammatically-challenged Sports Utility Coupé concept, measures in at 3,550mm long, 1,710mm wide and 1,505mm high. It shares the same ‘smiley' front face as the For-Us, complete with rhombic front lamps which stand proud of the surface and a pixellated grille opening.

Record breaking Bluebird reunited with nose

WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD holder Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird CN7 car has been reunited with its original nose. The car’s original nose was damaged and then kept in Coventry since 1960, but it has now been brought back to the car that lives at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire. Damaged during a World Land Speed Record attempt on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the nose of the car was sent back to Coventry for repairs and an updated design to help make the car more stable at very high speeds.
