BDS Suspension 3" Lift Kit for the 2009-2010 3/4 Ton & 1 Ton Pickup.

This 3" lift kit maintains factory coils and factory ride and comes with two cast aluminum upper coil buckets. These buckets bolt solid to your upper coil pocket giving you 3" of lift while maintaining your factory ride quality. The box kit includes 3" upper coil mounts, a track bar relocation bracket, extended urethane bump stops, and a pitman arm for steering correction.

The rear of this 3" Dodge Ram coil spacer kit is lifted via a 2" block and u-bolt kit.

Front & rear 5500 series hydraulic shock absorbers are included with 9500 series gas shocks available as an upgrade for this 3" lift kit. A single steering stabilizer is also available as an upgrade.

Important Kit Notes

1. These vehicle were manufactured with three different diameter rear axles. You will need to measure the diameter of your rear axle before ordering. It should be 3-1/2", 3-7/8", or 4-1/8" in diameter. The base kit comes with 3-1/2" u-bolts.
2. The rear u-bolts will not fit a dually application.

A proposed tax break for new-vehicle buyers is dramatically scaled back in the final version of the economic stimulus bill. Auto dealers and their allies had sought to make interest on auto loans and the sales and excise taxes on new-vehicle purchases deductible from federal taxes. Proponents say those measures are needed to boost showroom traffic and sales.

GM recalls nearly 15,000 Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Impala sedans

General Motors is recalling about 15,000 vehicles to fix two problems--reprogramming the electronic stability control in some 2012 Buick LaCrosse cars and rerouting the power-steering hose on the 2012 Chevrolet Impala. The automaker is recalling 10,344 Impalas to reroute the upper power-steering house that could fail because of heat from the catalytic converter. As a result, the hose sprays fluid over the catalytic converter, causing smoke and potential fire.

Dedicated automotive design school to open in India

Based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, the college will focus on automotive design, and in time, incorporate automotive engineering and management into a slightly wider curriculum. Notably, students will have the opportunity to build a full scale, working, drivable prototype as part of their final year projects in both the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.
