BDS Suspension Chevrolet/GMC 4WD 4-1/2" Lift Kit for 99-06 1500 HD Silverado/Sierra 1/2 ton pickup, 01-10 2500 HD Silverado/ Sierra 3/4 ton pickup, 01-06 2500 NON-HD Silverado/ Sierra 3/4 ton pickup, Avalanche, Suburban, and Yukon XL 2500 3/4 Ton SUVs.

This unique High Clearance suspension lift kit utilizes high arched crossmembers that blend perfectly with the angle of the factory installed lower control arms for a completely integrated look while lifting your vehicle a full 4-1/2" dramatically increasing ground clearance at the front crossmembers and improving operating geometry. A front differential skid plate comes standard, for increased off road protection.

The rear is lifted with a flat 3" block for easy installation.

This highly customizable kit gives you the choices you need to build your rig your way. BDS granite or powder coat black finishes, standard or narrow track knuckle kits, gas shocks, and dual steering stabilizers are just a few of the options and upgrades available for this 4-1/2" Chevy/GMC suspension lift kit.

Important Kit Notes

1. Special torsion bar unloading tool required for installation.

2. Some Welding required

3. Frame bracket modification required.

4. 20" wheels with 5-1/2" to 5-3/4" of backspacing recommended to reduce trimming.

5. Gas models require exhaust modification

6. Narrow track knuckle option will slightly increase turning radius

7. If equipped with stock 17" wheels, then must replace with 17" or larger.

Mercedes are considering closer ties with Brawn GP [ad#ad-1] With Brawn GP wiping the floor with everything on the F1 circus this season, and particularly World Champions McLaren, it is being reported that Mercedes are seeking a closer relationship with the new darlings of the paddock. At the moment Mercedes supplies engines to Brawn GP on a customer basis. In other words, Brawn GP has to cough up the cost – which will not be insignificant.

Porsche future products: Small SUV, entry-level roadster in the plan

Porsche plans a major expansion of its product range by the middle of the decade. CEO Matthias Mueller has promised at least one new model a year, starting with the redesigned 911 that arrives in February. An SUV that is smaller than the Cayenne will be added, along with an entry-level roadster.
