BDS Suspension 6" Lift Kit for the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 3/4 Ton and 1 Ton 4WD Pickup - Gas & Diesel.
This 6" lift kit includes front Pro-Ride Coil Springs and heavy duty, tubular, upper and lower control arms. The lower arms are longer than stock to rotate the axle for proper alignment. A relocation bracket is used to flatten out the angle of the upper control arm to maintain your factory handling characteristics. All four control arms are greasable for long term performance.
A dropped forged pitman arm is included to maintain the factory steering angles. A track bar relocation bracket properly centers the axle under the vehicle. Extended bump stops and sway bar links maintain the OE characteristics.
The optional long arm lift kit includes solid upper long arms to reduce caster change through wheel travel creating a more controlled feeling in the steering wheel both on and off road. This 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms as well which adds to the stability of the suspension system. A dropped forged pitman arm is included to maintain the factory steering angles.
The rear of the Dodge Ram is lifted via a 4" block kit.
Not only is the kit designed to last, but so is the finish. Every bracket is powder coated twice with a base grey color and then a clear coat over the top to ensure long term performance of our finish.

1. Rear U-bolts will not fit dually applications.

2. These vehicle were manufactured with three different diameter rear axles. You will need to measure the diameter of your rear axle before ordering. It should be 3-1/2", 3-7/8", or 4-1/8" in diameter.

3. Some 3-7/8" axle models with dual overloads will require 4 of a u-bolt number 040066.

College Exhibition: Creapole MA Degree Show 2009
Fri, 03 Apr 2009Creapole, a design school offering degrees in a range of disciplines, held its MA Transportation Design show last week at its campus in Paris, France. The masters students, now in their fifth year of study, have been preparing for the show through the school's intensive program, which includes sociological, ecological and anthropological studies during the fourth year. In the fifth year, program directors Alec Moran and Cyril Randuineau allowed the students to develop a vehicle based on their own theme and invited jury members from the design community to come by and give the students feedback on their various projects.
New Jeep Cherokee: New York Auto Show 2013
Wed, 27 Mar 2013The new Jeep Cherokee has its official public debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show today with 9-speed gearbox and based on a Fiat platform. Now, with the New York Auto Show about to kick off (which you might reasonably have thought was yesterday after the flurry of activity from Jaguar and Land Rover) we get a full set of photos of the Cherokee and specifications. The new Cherokee sits on the Chrysler/Fiat Compact US Wide platform which gets independent front and rear suspension which, say Jeep, offers great on-road dynamics without sacrificing off-road ability and comes with a 9-speed auto box and a choice – at least in the US – of 184bhp 2.4 litre 4-cylinder or 271bhp 3.2 litre Pentastar V6.
