Jaguar XJL – Merry Christmas!

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

The Neiman Marcus Jaguar XJL - yours for $105k But fear not; this year is going to be a doddle, particularly if you have a few petrol-heads on your Christmas present list. For Neiman Marcus – purveyor of fine goods in NYC – has added a very special car to its Christmas Book  – the Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neimen Marcus Edition. Every year Neimen Marcus (a Harrods-ish store, for those who don’t know) produces the ‘Neimen Marcus Christmas Book’ from which you can purchase gifts for the man / woman who has everything.

Porsche Panamera to debut at Shanghai

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

Porsche Panamera will debut in Shanghai in April It’s a sign of the growing importance of the Chinese market that Porsche has chosen to launch the car officially in China. Even the Chinese car market is suffering at the moment, but the simple fact is that with such a huge population, and a Chinese DNA that seems to predispose them to commerce now they are allowed to ‘Trade’ once again, there will probably be more potential Porsche buyers in China in the next 10 years than in the rest of the world combined. So suck-up now seems a good motto.
