Sold in pairs, these are the 5 pin version used on our BECK product for the past 6 to 7 years, but are different than the older ones in that these now have the proper "checking" marks between the letters, not the smooth finish of the older version. Note: . P> Dimensions: 9.5" long slightly taller than .5" at the "S" All pins are off the back, and hidden by letters, so if these holes are slightly different location, be assured that the lettering is identical from our earlier script and will still cover all existing holes. This time last year Bentley revealed that a convertible Continental Supersports had set a world record on ice in Finland of 205.48mph on the frozen Baltic sea in Finland, quickly followed by the announcement of a limited edition Bentley Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ to cash in on the achievement. Now, in the spirit of making the most of every success, Bentley are offering places on their ‘Power on Ice 2012′ trip back to Finland to play with the W12 Continental GT and the even more powerful Continental Supersports Coupe.
Volvo V40 Cross Country & V40 R-Design: Paris 2012
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Volvo has revealed the V40 Cross Country and V40 R-Design at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and both are convincing. The sporty take on the new V40 is the V40 R-design, a cosmetic update for the already good-looking V40 that manages to bolt on go-faster bits without wrecking the good lines of the normal V40. We would like to have seen the Volvo V40 R-Design get the sports suspension as standard, but Volvo obviously feel that most R-Design buyers want the looks rather than the more dynamic ride the sports suspension offers, so it stays as an option. And as the R-Design option is available across the new V40 range – from the D2 to the T4 – it’s probably the right decision.
Who's Where: Jason Castriota opens own design consultancy
Tue, 23 Mar 2010Former Bertone and Pininfarina designer, Jason Castriota, has opened his own design consultancy based in New York and Turin. CDN recently caught up with Castriota - who is currently in New York - and discovered he's already working on a series of projects, despite having not yet officially launched the company. Castriota told us that it had always been his "dream to have my own consultancy in New York", yet what's clearly pleasing him most is the volume of work he's already accrued, without officially launching the firm.
