The EX30d gets the same diesel engine as the FX30d, namely a 3.0 litre V6 with graphite iron block (all the better for saving weight and adding smoothness) delivering 235bhp which – in the smaller EX30d – is sufficient to get to 60mph in 7.7 seconds and return 33.2mpg.
