Up for auction is a KT 76A Transponder.  I bought this with the intent if replacing the ARC transponder in my Cessna. The Avionics guy said to bring in both, and he was able to fix the ARC and update the KT 76A. I was waiting for the ARC to fail cert and then replace with this pristine unit, but it never did.

If you have a KT 76A in need of repair, and are holding out on updating until 2019, this is your unit.  Current selling price on eBay of a Kt 76A is way cheaper than the shops charge to fix yours.

Infact, its funny how the repair cost is about the cost of an updated Transponder, minus install cost..

Since it was repaired, it was never installed and kept in my house, not in the garage or hangar.

It is an excellent unit, with a great face plate.  As you can see by the data tag, it is a more modern B/K KT 76A and not just a King KT76 with a new face on it.

Slide it in and call the shop to cert the transponder and go flying..

Included is the repair order.

Included is one(1) tray.. As you can see by the pictures, there is a tray for a clean install, and one that can be used to quickly install.  Ends are clearly marked and enough wire length for a retro install in your aircraft. The long snakeskin cable is for the encoder..  Dropping resistor included as well if installing in 24V.. and a digital copy of the installations manual.
