Benelli gas tank

This tank is off some sort of Benelli, but it's been so long since I got it' I've forgotten which model. I seem to remember it was a two stroke? Someone has told me it's off a model with the laid down, egg style engine and sheet metal frame. I have no idea. What I do know is, it sits very low. It will fit a narrowcase Ducati as long as the engine is a 160 or smaller. The 250 and 350 are too tall - the head will hit the bottom of the tank. You could change the way it's mounted I suppose but I never got that far with it. Obviously it is not one of the Mojave tanks, you know the tanks I'm talking about. Cosmo was selling NOS tanks for about $75 a couple years ago, and now people are asking hundreds for them? I wish I hadn't sold mine off so soon... Anyway, not being a Mojave tank, your bike won't look like every other mojave-tanked cafe racer out there these days. I think this tank looks more along the lines of a narrowed Ducati Mach 1 tank and would be a great improvement to the square-styled tank most Monza Jrs have.

It's roughly 20" long and about 10.5 wide at the widest point. I have no idea if it will fit your CB350 or whatever else it is you have. Unless you have a Monza Jr. then yes, it will fit with some work. As you can tell from the pictures this is not the stock paint. A budding Von Dutch got his hands on it at one point. The rear is dented in at the hold down tab, but it's a solid tank.

Shipping will be $25.00, via USPS standard shipping. Feel free to contact me for more info.

Lamborghini has announced a roofless Roadster version as part of the brand’s continued 50th anniversary celebrations – and plans to build up to nine examples, depending on demand. However, at €3.3m (£2.8m) – plus local taxes – the Veneno Roadster is ten times more expensive than the Aventador Roadster on which it’s based.

Bugatti’s 254mph Veyron Vitesse officially world’s fastest drop-top

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse has been officially confirmed as the world’s fastest open-top production car, having been clocked at 254.04mph. The milestone will be celebrated (naturally) with a limited run of special ‘World Record Edition’ Grand Sport Vitesses (which has been on sale since January 2012), with the commemorative cars sporting orange flashes to the carbonfibre bodywork, and orange wheels. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse: a 250mph wind in your hair Bugatti admits that the initial open-top speed target for the Bugatti Grand Sport was a piffling 233mph.

As Sam Livingstone opines in his review of the latest Porsche 911, we are in a period of car design consolidation, with the new 911 the ultimate expression of a slightly suffocating trend. Yet every so often, a vehicle appears that breaks these rules and – through a combination of factors that can be difficult to quantify – captures the imagination, becoming a symbol of the times and an overnight market success. Such vehicles tend to emerge once a decade or so, yet the late 90s and early noughties were extraordinary for giving birth to three – the Ford Ka of '96, Audi TT of '98 and Mini of '01.
