Audi A8 facelift revealed ahead of Frankfurt Motor Show 2013

Audi is pulling weight out of its A8 limousine and sticking in more power in an effort to stem the expected upsurge from Mercedes-Benz’s all-new S-Class, also being unveiled for the first time at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The all-wheel drive Audi, which is the top-of-the-range Audi limo, may only change a little visually but delivers big upgrades in its driver assistance systems, as well as tightening its fuel consumption by up to 10%. VW Touareg (2010 / 2011) revealed

Volkswagen has revealed the 2010 VW Touareg It’s not too hard to work out we’re coming up to one of the major motor shows on the calendar. The reveals are starting to speed up – this time with the Volkswagen Touareg in it’s new clothes. But it’s not just new clothes the Touareg is wearing, there’s lots more going on under the skin as well. A bit longer than the original, the 2010/2011 Touareg has had a major visual overhaul.

Parade celebrates astronauts and Corvettes

After Alan Shepard became the first American to travel into outer space in 1961, General Motors executive Ed Cole presented the astronaut with a new 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, customized with a space-age interior. Shepard had brought along his own 1957 Corvette when he reported for the space-training program in 1959. Thanks to a special lease arrangement between the space men and a Melbourne, Fla., Chevy dealership, six of the Mercury Seven astronauts were Corvette owners.
